The Simply Happy Project
Most of the time, I love life. With experience, I have also acknowledged that everything passes—no need to overthink or resist…
But beyond that, I have discovered that even in the most painful moments of this story, when my mind was ready to condemn life, there was something deeper—somehow independent from "me"—that wanted to go on.
That's Albert Camus's "invincible summer," Carl Gustav Jung's "numinous experience," Eckhart Tolle's "present moment," the absolute bliss of the disappearance of the "small I" in the presence of the breathtaking beauty of the Grand Canyon, or of Maria Callas giving her voice to Carmen.
Every personality tastes the Absolute through its specific configuration, and however we wish to describe it, "the Tao that can be spoken isn't the real Tao."
So, Simply Happy is more about experiencing and sharing "it" than talking about "it".
We have all gone through life, being taken by more or less conscious life paths, but one day "it" opened. It took us time to progressively let go of the representations and projections that were preventing us from tasting the bliss, and sometimes we may go back to the painful interpretation. But anyway, after a while, we begin to let go of suffering and open ourselves to happiness.
Simply Happy's purpose is to support this unfolding and its expression into the world. We invite you to simply and happily celebrate life together.
With loving friendship,
Sylvie, founder of Simply Happy
